I think you can tell a lot about people by the way they walk their dog–don’t you? Not that I’m subject to judgement without knowing all the facts. (As I’m sure you’re not either.)
So, keeping the former in mind, let me show you what I mean by the latter: (Ha, ha, figure that one out!)
This guy likes to share the load….
This lady likes to treat her Princess to snacks.
This is one laid back guy….
This young man is free-wheeling and carefree….
This couple likes to teach their old dog new tricks….
(I’ve tried this–it doesn’t work!)
And to end this post, the dog whose owner I really want to meet, right away. I know you will, too. If you’ve seen His whereabouts, let me know. For, this man’s dog:
WALKS ON WATER!
How about you? How do you walk your dog? Do you stop for the smells or pass them by?
Is your nose wet and your tail wagging? If not, a dog will show you how. It’s fun….
FYI: For those of you interested in knowing my medical progress, I have added a new page to this blog that will give periodic updates as new things happen. Simply go to the top of this page to the tab that says: Health Updates. These updates will not alert subscribers, so check occasionally if you are curious between postings.
I totally agree. The dogs can tell a lot about the owner…..the social type, the mean type, the overprotective etc.We have Snoopy and even that some people don’t let him to sniff their dogs!!!!! and Snoop cannot understand” why”.
Neither can I. My dog used to greet dogs quite well when she was off leash and would lunge at them while on one. Go figure!
OHH sorry I Bruno and I missed you down on the river trail. My neighbor is the one whose dog is pulling him along on the skateboard..young at heart Todd (42 year old!)…dog “ageless.” Nice post!
Hi Joy, Maybe you’ll let young Todd know he and his dog “made the cut.” I still haven’t met Bruno, but have had my hands full. (But not my stomach–ha ha!)
I love this post, Gayle. Dogs and their owners, and the surrounding beauty of The River Trail are signs that both you and Mike are still stopping to see and sniff the flowers and embrace the amazing beauty.
You affirm life with your breathing views of humanity, as only you can capture them.
“The best of times and the worst of times” and you continue to affirm that savoring the best…is actually best! Thank you.
I am so very blessed to know you, My friend.
Michele
Hi Michele,
I’m honored to have you drop in! You do such important work with your cancer support group. I’m sure you’re reminded daily how sweet each moment of life is. Especially when one is not in pain! Please feel free to leave your contact number for any of my local readers who may have cancer.
Hi Gayle & Mike too,
Was viewing you dog & master clip again, which is really sweet and thinking of you. A very Happy Easter to you two. Love, Peggie
Thanks, Peggie. Happy Easter to you, too!
Gayle, you are Dog Gone Fantastic, and I love your doggy photos and captions….especially the last one.
As always, you’re in my thoughts, prayers, and blessings. You inspire me, dear one. Sending you and Mike love.
Francie
Thanks, Francie. We love your love!
Hi Gayle – It was such a pleasure to visit with you at Grace Place during the art lesson with Kaiya, my granddaughter. You are not just a talented artist but a true inspiration to me (and many others) – a lovely example of grace under pressure and inner peace (and “spunk”) in spite of life’s twists and turns.
My best to you!
Carlene
Hi Carlene, So glad we were together for a few hours! Thank you for your kind words–we’re all tempered by fire, aren’t we? Hope to see you again soon.
